New Features

Pix-Star has always been at the forefront of digital displays, our 10 inch and 15 inch frames have beaten the competition with 1024x768 pixels but we figured we could up the ante with our newest addition, the LUX 17 Inch frame has 56% more pixels! A stunning 1280x960! In addition to a bright and crisp screen, we’ve doubled the internal storage from 8 GB to 16 GB. This means you can load up your frame with thousands of photos that will play even if the WIFI goes down.

We didn’t stop at the display and storage, in addition to loading photos via SD card, USB stick, custom email, the Pix-Star Snap app, and syncing with online photo streaming services, you can now simply transfer photos from your phone or tablet to the LUX 17 by Bluetooth. And, believe it or not, it’s faster.

We upgraded the CPU to be twice as fast, and while we were at it we figured doubling the RAM to increase fluidity and performance was a no brainer. To round out the improvements, we added in 5Ghz WIFI compatibility.
